Caseway SC-200 is a clear, water-thin cement for bonding rigid vinyl to itself and other plastics such as ABS, Kydex, PVC, Expanded PVC, Sintra, and PETG. It will develop a strong clear bond within minutes and can be applied quickly with a solvent syringe, dropper, brush, or by using the “soak method”. Used for a wide range of applications from bonding large sheets to small decorative items. Solvent cementing depends on the softening and intermingling of the two surfaces to be joined so that there is actual cohesion between the materials themselves. After assembly, the solvent evaporates or dissipates through the material leaving no residue. The choice of cementing technique will depend on the type of joint and material to be cemented. *Typical setting time is 2 minutes, but may be longer depending on temperature and humidity.
